Welcome to Whitmore High School. Our philosophy is based on four pillars that develop the whole child. First and foremost, students here are treated individually and are listened to; secondly, outstanding teaching and learning based on strong, positive relationships is at the heart of everything we do; thirdly, our students are enabled to achieve the very best results they can, which will give them access to their next step; finally, extensive opportunities outside of the classroom support and nurture the passions and talents of each individual.

I believe Whitmore is a very special place. The staff work hard every day to ensure students are happy and achieve their potential. The students are just as impressive, working hard in lessons and most importantly, they are kind and supportive of each other.

Alongside academic success, students are given the opportunity to develop their interests outside of the classroom. The school has outstanding drama, music, and PE departments which allows the school to provide extensive extra-curricular opportunities for students. 

This year we have moved into our new £30 million building, which provides amazing facilities and the latest technology to support teaching and learning.
