To celebrate Saint David’s Day 2019 pupils in Year 7, 8 and 9 had a competition to design and create bunting with a Welsh theme. There were many fantastic entries and pupils enjoyed learning about Welsh culture and history.
Year 7

Year 9

3rd place – Amber Hamling 9TW & Jack Bates 9TW
Year 7 form classes were also set a challenge to learn and perform the longest Welsh word ‘Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch’. Fun was had by all, da iawn pawb!
